3D led lamps for the geekiest corner of your house
TIE Fighter of Star Wars, one of the led 3D lamps of Megalamps
After the premiere of Episode VIII and the freak in the clouds, receiving spam with Star Wars merchandise is appreciated. ¿A TIE Fighter, the Millennium Falcon, Darth Vader, the Death Star or R2-D2 Transformed into 3D led lamps? How are they made?
3D LED lamps?
So I had no choice but to click on the link and discover Megalamps. These are led lamps that simulate 3D figures when they are actually 2D designs. It is not sculptures, but flat methacrylate pieces that support the LED filaments that light up.
They are not big pieces. Its approximate height is about 25 cm, and it does not seem that they illuminate too much. They are plugged into the electricity network through a USB Cable, so an adapter is necessary. Megalamps ensures 50,000 hours of use. You can choose one of the 7 possible colors: red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, pink, white. Or configure it to change gradually from one to another. They are therefore decorative objects to place on bedside tables or a particularly freaky corner of the house.
So far they have taken four collections other than led 3D lamps: Star Wars, super heroes, modern and classic. Thanks to that fake 3D they all attract attention, by the character they represent, or the optical illusion they recreate. With the exception of the 'classics' whose price is 79 dollars, the rest cost 59.
