This beautiful duplex apartment of only 48 square meters is located in Sao Paulo. It was remodeled by Mauricio Arruda for a 40-year-old single man who requested a total transformation. Starting everything from scratch with the idea of maximizing the little space available.
Neutral colors such as brown, black and white predominate in the apartment. The starting point to start the decoration process on the ground floor was the Sergio Rodrigues design sofa from 1962 for the collection. With this, the colors and textures were taken as the basis for the design of the ground floor.
We see some subtle accents of color in each environment of the duplex, such as shades of orange, blue and green. As well as the kitchen floor with floral tiles that differs from the rest of the rooms.
The walls of the apartment have been painted combining beige with gray, a magical combination that, according to the author, brings us the feeling of warmth and masculinity.
The beautiful kitchen is small and cozy. It is open and separated by a large white kitchen island and elegant lighting with pendant lamps above it.
The spiral staircase design matches the furniture and on the second floor it provides additional functionality and serves as a TV stand in the bedroom.
The main room is decorated with some bright accents that match the headboard. The unexpected touch is provided by the large blue wardrobe. It should be noted that the owner has a variety of collectible decorative accessories such as the Moroccan carpet and other ornaments.
The bathroom is located next to the bedroom. Separated by a wall lined with mirrors.
Finally, we see the plan of the duplex including the two floors with the distribution of each component.
