Before and After: A colorful and bohemian children's bedroom
When Justina Blakeney, a designer with a marked bohemian spirit, learned that one of her best friends was pregnant, she did not hesitate a minute to make herself available to create a space that was worthy of the baby's exotic origins. With a mother of Hawaiian / Caucasian descent and an African / Indian / Caucasian father, the future baby's bedroom was crying out for an equally exotic, bohemian and colorful space. Judge for yourselves if the designer achieved her goal:
BEFORE
He started from a bedroom painted in dark and muted tones that little showed the explosion of color that was coming. The furniture, also in dark tones, was decided to maintain to provide the color through the different accessories and in contrast with these.

AFTER
After a good coat of paint to change to a lighter and brighter color palette, the large furniture was relocated to find the most functional arrangement possible, also adding a large and comfortable sofa to adapt to the food needs of the first months of the year. infant, as well as to give and receive cuddles.
Once the larger elements were placed, we continued adding layers with different elements in different colors and textures to give that bohemian and eclectic touch that Justine knows how to handle.
In the words of the designer herself, they wanted to give it a "beach, jungle, tropical and safari touch at the same time", all in one and without any style prevailing over the rest. A mix that he managed to combine cold and warm colors, including a variety of textures ranging from the light voile of the curtains, to the sheep hair blankets or the gloss finish of poufs and cushions and introducing the right amount of plants in pots that It gives her that wild air.
We leave you with the photos of the spectacular transformation:
