This is a very small apartment of just 29 square meters located in Poland and designed by 3XA architects. The objective of this project was to make it look more spacious, not to be overloaded and the inclusion of a separate bedroom. This way they would have more space for the living room, dining room and kitchen area.
They took advantage of the almost four meters high of the roof to build a structure that includes a second level. The decoration has a certain masculine air, it is cozy and youthful. Here we show you the interior of this small apartment.
The apartment has white walls. Large windows covered with semi-transparent cream curtains allowing more natural light to enter. The wooden floors and the structure of the second level in wood achieve a more welcoming living space.
This photo shows us the kitchen area and the hallway area that leads to the entrance door of the mini apartment. Between them, we see a white wall that corresponds to the bathroom. On the right side a staircase was built that leads to the second level where the bedroom is located. While under the stairs, on the main floor, this space was used to include storage niches and a shelving system to provide functionality to the room.
This small apartment is decorated in neutral tones with some finishes in rough materials such as wood and exposed brick painted white.
The living room includes a beige modular sofa located towards the corner. the space allows to include a small work area with a desk with an expandable part and a cute upholstered chair. A long shelf was adapted that covers the entire width of the sofa. Some decorations are scattered there.
This image shows us another angle of the social area of the small room, where we can visualize accent tones. A cute industrial-style pendant light and a mustard-colored chair. As well as cushions, chairs and checkerboard floor in the hallway with black color.
The kitchen area is covered in cabinets up to the ceiling area allowing more storage space. This space looks minimalist where everything seems to be in order, a simple decoration with lots of light. To maintain a unified decor, similar curtains were included for the shelf area and the living room area.
The entry area includes a hallway with checkerboard-style flooring and natural-colored recessed ceiling lights.
With the little space available, every inch had to be used to the maximum by creating interesting and novel solutions such as the second level and the shelves under the stairs. Another successful solution from the designers was the choice of colors that create a warm and calm effect in this small house.
