Queenscliff House, is a wonderful house located on the edge of a cliff in Sydney, Australia. The architects at Utz Sanby Architects have made the most of the beautiful ocean view.
The house has three floors and due to the unevenness of the terrain, the entrance is through the second level. Upon entering the house, the first thing you see is the incredible view from the terrace.
The living room and dining room have a fairly simple design, they use a soft palette in which a large painting that decorates the wall stands out.
The kitchen is white and has a nice dark texture on the countertop. Multiple storage locations keep the space looking totally uncluttered.
The way the house is built allows windows to be generated in the upper part that keep the entire room well lit and ventilated.
On the terrace we can see a dining room set, in addition to a comfortable armchair with a blue tapestry and different shades of gray in the cushions.
The bathroom has a very modern style with bright and luminous finishes that are enhanced by the entry of natural light.
It should be noted that this house has been designed to be efficient, forming a thermal mass that uses concrete materials and masonry walls on the first level. For the floor, a hydronic heating system has been chosen that allows the environment to remain warm during the winter.
