Incandescent concrete lamp

Concrete is a very present material in this blog. We've seen it used to create the LC2 armchair by Le Corbusier, a skin for the iPhone 5 and even a wristwatch. In today's case this is a concrete lamp, but in this case incandescent concrete, cast concrete.
The CONCRETE big lamp has been created by the Dutch designer Renate Vos and is built mainly with cement and rubber, resulting in a warm lamp that contrasts with the coldness of concrete and with an incredible line of tension in the point of union of both ends.
Quiet that there is no risk of it melting.
The concrete lamp has dimensions of 22 cm long, 22 cm in diameter and a weight of 3.5 kg. Is available in two models or sizes: conic and big.
As the saying goes ... it is not concrete everything that shines, or was it not?
