South of the city of Sao Paulo, in a residential neighborhood, a beautiful apartment from the 90s was renovated into a minimalist and contemporary home. Neutral details, few but imposing decorative elements and clean lines are ideal to achieve that minimalist charm that many of us are passionate about, especially if we are looking for a place that transmits tranquility and elegance. The author of converting this magnificent apartment is Diego Revollo, transforming it into a more spacious and ventilated place.
As we can see, in this beautiful apartment design gray predominates in the different rooms. To add harmony and interest, different textures are added, especially wood, rough like cement and some shiny details like stainless steel. They bring a certain industrial and manly air to the house.
To turn this space into a more spacious and airy place, the living room, dining room and kitchen spaces were unified, breaking down some walls that made each environment look less airy and with less natural light.
The room is divided into three parts, ingeniously through the furniture and rugs; Near the main door there is a small work area with a wonderful wooden shelf, the central part is the main room that includes a beautiful sofa with mustard color tapestry, which adds color to the room and, finally , we see a beautiful living room intended for watching television.
The dining area has a wooden bar connected to the kitchen island, creating a magnificent effect of contrasting textures, between the wood of the dining table and the dark gray polished concrete of the island. and the large tubular stainless steel extractor hood. One interesting detail is the beautiful metal pendant lamp above the dining room table. Towards the ends we see a sideboard and a large painting that help to reflect the light of the environment due to the level of brightness they have. Towards the back, we see part of the kitchen with black cabinets.
This is a part of the work area located in the living room, towards the back we can see the guest bathroom.
The house also has two bathrooms: a guest bathroom that has an elegant wood paneling and the other that connects to the master bedroom through a large bathtub.
The bedroom is small and includes a beautiful full width headboard. As we can see, gray is the main tone of this apartment.
The balcony is made of wood and a bench has been placed in part of the perimeter as well as the part of the roof. As decorative elements we see beautiful pictures hanging vertically, flowers, candles and decorative cushions.
