Perfect mix of styles: Nordic and Industrial, do you sign up?
Today we show you the result of the integral reform in a 70m2 apartment in Barcelona. The floor was going to be used for rent, but its degree of deterioration was patent and almost no natural light came in, so finding a tenant to occupy it became complex if it did not undergo a major renovation that would make it more attractive. This was the responsibility of the interior design studio Dröm Living, which opted to give the space a Nordic atmosphere with very modern industrial dyes and why not say it, which we love. Did we take a look?
ENTRY / HALL
What stands out as you enter this apartment is the brick wall that runs through the space in all its extension, encouraging the sense of continuity of all spaces and giving it that spirit industrial that is breathed throughout the house.
In addition, the absence of doors or partitions that delimit the space, allow you to have the entry of natural light from the living room balcony, gaining in luminosity and amplitude that otherwise would be lacking.

KITCHEN
There are also no doors that separate the space of the kitchen, which opens up unceremoniously towards the corridor, only bounded by tiles of hydraulic mosaic in designs and varied colors and that serve to provide color and freshness in a very practical and functional kitchen, but very neutral tones.

LIVING ROOM
At the end of the corridor we find the living / dining room, the space with more prominence of the house and main focus of natural light input to the property thanks to a large window with access to the balcony.
Again the neutral colors are the real protagonists of the space, both in walls and floor, as in furniture and decorative pieces, limiting the use of color to the trinomial white, black and gray, very usual use in spaces of Scandinavian style, and only interrupted by a note of color in red / garnet on some cushions.

As a good space for Nordic style, the furniture is reduced to the minimum, with simple and functional furniture where some pieces of design coexist with others of more industrial style such as ceiling lamps.
Very original is the way in which the dining area has been accentuated, in which the corner has been painted with simple black paint, but only up to half height as a virtual backup of the bench. A painting that has been left intentionally with the aspect of being half applied to intensify that industrial character that is looking for.

BEDROOMS
Finally, the 3 bedrooms of the apartment are shown as an extension of the aesthetic nordic-industrial from the rest of the house but in the version colored. This color comes from the hand of a layer of paint, again half applied, as an imaginary headboard and whose tone is different in the different bedrooms with the aim of maintaining their personality and being able to differentiate them. Original and unique proposal!
